As of yesterday morning, I am on my way to Finisterre. An additional 50 miles, upon completion, I will be able to say I walked across an entire country.

I didn’t set out to do a 42 mile day. I had toyed with doing another big mileage day to complete my trek into Santiago, but had not planned to go all out like I did.
The prior two days have been of recovery and reflection.
The prior two mornings I have spent considerable time in the square in which you finish the Camino. It is quite a different experience mid morning than 9 at night. Hundreds of pilgrims complete their trek of varying distances every hour.
As promised and after consuming all the bandwidth in Spain to upload a 40 second video to YouTube, my finishing video is now available.
i finished the Camino de Santiago yesterday, July 1st. I walked into Santiago shortly after 9pm. I hiked 42.4 miles yesterday, officially, but added close to 2 additional miles because of two wrong turns.
I finished in the rain. And yes, it was really just after 9pm. Daylight extends until just after 10pm in Spain.
